The Mount Toubkal 3 day trek is the ideal balance between adventure and comfort for hikers who want more time in the mountains without committing to a full week. Starting from Marrakech, you reach Imlil and enter the Azzaden Valley — one of the most beautiful approaches to the High Atlas — before joining the classic Toubkal summit route from the refuge.
Why choose a 3 day Toubkal trek?
Compared with the popular 2 day itinerary, an extra day allows gradual acclimatisation, cultural immersion in Berber villages and a less rushed summit attempt. Photographers and first-time high-altitude hikers often prefer this pace.
- More time to adapt to altitude above 3,000 m
- Scenic Azzaden Valley with waterfalls
- Quieter trails away from the main Imlil path
- Stronger summit-day success rate for moderate fitness levels
